Vision
In Global context, the national government has the
responsibility of meeting the requirements for circulation money. Carrying out this responsibility is done by the Royal Dutch Mint. Bringing special editions of circulation coins and commemorative coins onto the market is a positive contribution to the balance between regions, national and more international feelings that people have.
The Royal Dutch Mint is taking advantage of this by meeting the needs of (inter) national markets with products which distinguish themselves through reliability, innovation, quality and creativity in a prominent manner.

Mission
The Royal Dutch Mint plays a unique role for taking on the responsibility of the Dutch government with regard to circulation money and shall strengthen its role on the Global market as producer and distributor of coins and coin related products for both consumer and trade and industry.
The central quality of the Royal Dutch Mint is expressed in the high quality of design, production, promotion and distribution of coins and products and services related thereto.
